Private Label
This page is about the menu {{#fas:cog}} (SETTINGS) BOOKING ENGINE > PRIVATE LABEL

This function will allow you to use your own domain e.g. bookings.mydomain.com (instead of Bookingautomation.com) and will remove the BookingAutomation link from the booking page.

This function will also allow you to use your own domain in the payment link https://manage.bookingautomation.com/bookpay.php?bookid=[BOOKID] to https://mydomain.com/bookpay.php?bookid=[BOOKID]

The domain must be unique and cannot be exactly the same domain as your website, usually creating a sub domain for the booking page is a good idea.

For example if your website is https://www.myhotel.com you could create and use the sub domain book.myhotel.com for your booking page.

A monthly fee will apply for the use of this function.

{{#fas:exclamation-triangle}}Your domain needs to be SSL secured. If you need a secure page we recommend Clouldflare. See here for more information.

Set up:

  • Enter the domain name you want to use for your booking page. Do not enter https:// before the domain name. For example your domain might be book.myhotel.com
  • You need to create a CNAME record for your domain with the value admin.bookingautomation.com at your domains name server. Your domain register can usually help with this. Remove any A records from the domain. It can take up to 24 hours for domain record changes to be effective.
  • If you already have booking widgets on your web site you will need to change the link from the BookingAutomation link to your subdomain.

Each account can use one private label domain. If have multiple properties and want to use a different domain for each you need a sub account for each private label domain you want to use and make the properties you want to run on it owned by this sub account.
